Pickles is a thoughtful little character who cares a lot about the world around them. She love trees, clean air, animals, and the feeling of the sun on their shell. But lately, Pickles can’t stop thinking about all the stories she hears about the planet. Melting ice, disappearing forests, plastic in the ocean, and wildfires on the news.
Sometimes, Pickles feels worried about what the future will look like. “What if the trees all go away? What if the ocean animals have nowhere safe to swim? What if it gets too hot for anyone to play outside?” These questions swirl in Pickles’s mind every day.
